Before PK8303, when the PIA pilot forgot to open the landing gear, how did the plane land? Amazing event

The crash of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight PK 8303 just two days before Eid-ul-Fitr shook the entire nation, killing 98 people, including the crew, and miraculously saving two passengers. The bodies are still being identified after the crash, but an investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the crash, and the air traffic controller's report reveals that the pilot ignored the approach radar advises three times. A new debate has begun, but you will be surprised to learn that a PIA flight has crashed in the past simply because its pilot landed the  plane without lowering the landing gear. It was forgotten, but fortunately there were no casualties.

The incident took place at Islamabad Airport on February 4, 1986 around 9 am when a PIA Boeing 747 arrived in Islamabad from Karachi and was trying to land. Flight PK 300 had 247 passengers and 17 crew members on board. The pilot forgot to open the landing gear during the landing, which led to a 'belly landing' of the aircraft and fortunately all the occupants were safe. It was repaired with the help of Boeing's technical staff and used for flights for another 19 years and was retired in 2012.

The crash closed the runway for jet flights for five days. However, PIA's Fokker F27 turboprop aircraft was allowed to use the runway only two days later, on February 6 The 747 was removed from the runway on February 8 and reopened to all types of flights on February 9.
