Washington wants customers to be seated outside restaurants

The US capital, Washington, D.C., on Friday took the first step towards reviving business life by easing restrictions on the corona virus.

In the first phase, restaurants will be allowed to serve food to customers by arranging seating outside, according to instructions issued by the Washington DC mayor's office.

Only ten people will be able to attend the meeting at the same time in the places of worship. Public places such as gyms, museums, exhibitions and swimming pools will remain closed. While people will need to follow the usual precautionary measures.

According to the city's mayor, the decision to partially open the capital came after a two-week steady decline in the number of covid 19 cases.
