Saudi Arabia announces phased curfew. Makkah will be exempted from this facility.Curfew hours in Saudi Arabia will be reduced this week, with curfew lifted across the country except Mecca from the 21st of next month. Leaving homes from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m will be allowed. The curfew will be relaxed from May 31 to the evening of Saturday, June 20, from 6 am to 8 pm with domestic flights also resumed.

      Hotels and cafes and other private sectors will also be allowed to operate. Security measures will be required in mosques. Friday and congregational prayers will continue in Masjid-ul-Haram with precautionary measures, however, temporary suspension of Umrah and pilgrimage to Masjid-e-Nabawi will continue. 

        International flights will be suspended, and security measures will be relaxed or toughened in light of the new situation.
