English player Ben Stokes has made a shocking revelation that India deliberately lost against England in the 2019 World Cup and blocked Pakistan's way to reach the semi-finals.
Ben Stokes, 28, has revealed in his book that India did not want to compete with Pakistan in the World Cup semi-finals.
According to Stokes, India could have won the match, needing 112 runs in the last 11 overs but the Indian team could only score 81 runs. Didn't look in pressure mode and just spent time on the wicket which helped England.
After these revelations of Ben Stokes, the same question has arisen again whether India deliberately lost the match to get Pakistan out. If India had won this match, Pakistan would have easily reached the top 4 by defeating Bangladesh.
