Another big Muslim Mosque opened for Salah
The Al-Aqsa Mosque, which was closed for the past two and a half months due to the corona virus, has been reopened for worshipers. Hundreds of people arrived at the mosque for Fajr prayers when the mosque opened. Umm Hisham, a local resident, said that when the mosque opened, she felt as if she had a chance to breathe again. They are extremely grateful to Allah Almighty.
The Islamic Waqf Council decided to reopen the mosque after reviewing the reduction in the spread of Corona virus. However, the council has decided that visitors to the mosque must wear masks and take other precautionary measures to prevent further spread of the virus.
According to Reuters, the number of people attending the Fajr prayers was not specified, however approximately 700 people attended the Fajr prayers. A large number of Israeli police were also stationed.
